Summary of the work of online seminar for the admission board’s members and recognizers-beginners of the HEIs

On July 11, 2023 the recognizers of the Centre Enic Ukraine held the online seminar “Recognition of foreign educational qualifications in Ukraine: validation and preparation of documents for recognition” for specialists of the admission boards and HEI’s officers, who are just beginning their work in the recognition sphere. 224 specialists from 111 educational institutions took part in the event.
The seminar was organized with the financial support of the Council of Europe within the UaReNext project “Implementation of Lisbon Recognition Convention – support of ENIC Centres”.
In their presentations the specialists of ENIC Ukraine called attention of the seminar participants to important issues in recognition of foreign qualifications, familiarized with peculiarities of recognition of documents from Russian Federation and Republic of Belarus, told on possibility of validation procedure, discussed in details the requirements for the preparation of document package, introduced the stages of the recognition procedure and provided the participants with answers to the topical question by subject of the event.
During the work of separate groups in workshops the participants of the seminar had a chance to communicate with the specialists of ENIC Ukraine and analyze the practical cases of document verification, status check of educational institution and determination of the rights, which are given by the educational document.
