Visit of Danish delegation to the National Information Centre ENIC Ukraine

On May 30, 2018, the delegation of the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration and the Danish National ID Centre of the Ministry of Immigration and Integration of the Kingdom of Denmark, as well as the Consular Section of the Embassy, visited the National Information Center ENIC Ukraine (state-owned company “Information and Image Center” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine).

The leading specialists of the National Information Center ENIC Ukraine, at the request of Danish colleagues, prepared a detailed presentation of the Ukrainian education system, review of the current samples of educational documents and peculiarities of some educational programs, tools for verifying the authenticity of Ukrainian educational documents, and highlighted the issues related to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Particular attention was paid to the system of agrarian education in Ukraine, as the agricultural sector, according to Danish experts on migration, is one of the most promising in the field of academic and labor mobility of Ukrainian citizens to the Kingdom of Denmark.

Danish colleagues pointed out the growing interest of Ukrainian citizens in    internship programs for the students of agricultural specialties of Ukrainian higher education institutions and vocational educational establishments at Danish agrarian enterprises for a period of 6-12 months. Danish partners have certain requirements for the correct documentary support of these programs and are interested in the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in the field of academic mobility and economic cooperation. That is why, almost ten years of experience of the National Information Center ENIC Ukraine in the sphere of verification and recognition of documents, as well as academic mobility, is considered of utmost importance for facilitating such integration processes.

As a result of the meeting, agreements on the exchange of information and further fruitful cooperation between ENIC Ukraine and the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration, the Danish National ID Centre of the Ministry of Immigration and Integration of the Kingdom of Denmark, as well as the Consular Section of the Embassy were reached.

On behalf of the team of ENIC Ukraine, we express our sincere gratitude to our Danish colleagues and the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark for cooperation, as well as for the interest in the activities of our Center and the promotion of Ukraine's integration to Europe.
